    PP Install Question, Pics attached

I actually installed perfect pass on my boat a few years ago, but last weekend the long brass nut came off, so I had to put it back together. Now that I am screwing it back on, I am second guessing myself on whether I have it on there correctly. The pics below are with the boat in neutral. Does this look right?

The reason I am questioning myself is because in the PP manual, it says that there should be no gap on the left end of the brass nut when the boat is in neutral. Does this just mean that there shouldn't be any gap between that brass nut and the threads to the left of it so the cable isn't showing at all? Or does it mean that there shouldn't be any threads showing to the left of the brass nut and that the brass nut should be touching the other small silver nut that is to the left of it in the pics below.

Hopefully this makes sense. Ultimately, I just need to know if the below pics look correct. Thanks a lot!

I beleive that brass nut is double threaded so that they come together when turned, but the brass nut needs to be turned as far as it will go towards the silver nut on left. Hope this helps. They used to have pictures on Perfect Pass site, but not anymore.
If you don\'t do it today, you will be one day older when you do!!

I thought that brass nut was double threaded too, but when I looked at it, its not. Any other suggestions/opinions?

no the brass not gets turned all the way onto the throttle cable
then you adjust the 2 nuts on cable
then you rotate the knob on the controller

Mine is dealer installed and has threads showing. I think your description of what you thought "no gap" meant is right IIRC.
