SV-211 Owners - what kind of ballast/bag setup are you running?

Wakemakers makes a piggyback kit that plumbs inline with the stock hard tanks. Anyone have experience with that? They seem confident that it's fine, but I'm worried about sinking the butt end of the boat that much (stock hard tanks at 200lbs/per tank + two 750lb fat sacks in each locker - 1900lbs in rear lockers total)

no stock ballast. 540Â’s in each rear compartment and a 350 sitting on the ski locker (not too far forward). Homemade surfgate. My 18 year old daughter does great, IÂ’m not there yet.

It is always just the two of us so no other weight in the boat.

I always surfed with the stock ballast and a 440# fat sac in the transom walkthrough. Ideal setup for non-goofy. Sold the boat before trying a suck gate but hear good things about them on the 211.

I could surf mine with just the wife driving. A couple people on the port side made it much better tho.

I'm looking to improve the surf wave on my 07 SV-211 Team Edition with stock port, starboard, and belly ballasts. Curious what other SV-211 owners have added to improve the surf wave without swamping the backend of the boat?

I've ran across some old posts but for some reason was not able to access them through search results?

I removed the tank on my sv and installed 420lbs sacks in rear lockers and ski locker. Made a pretty good wave!

Honestly the Suck gate made the biggest difference for me. I use stock ballast and have been happy I the that. However I am easy to please with surfing.
