No wonder it takes forever to open this thread.......Erik, you need to size those pictures down.

NO! This is one thread where I am not enabling the site's auto-resize feature. Please load full-size images here. We need the highest possible quality for the calendar. The thread load time may suffer a bit, but it is worth the delay for us to get the best quality pictures possible.
EDIT: Due to the huge amount of bandwidth this thread is using, I am resizing the photos. I have the full-size versions saved though, so you shouldn't have to resubmit them if your image wins. Please do not PM me directly asking for advice on how to repair your boat. While I would love to help everyone, I simply do not have time to respond to all of the inquiries. Please post your questions on the forum, so that all of our members have a chance to answer.

Right. Thats what I thought and thats why I posted the images I posted, in their hi-res glory . Otherwise Jeff is going to need to chase down everyone who he chooses for the calendar to get the hi-res versions of photo (which they may or may not have) and it will turn into a logistical nightmare for him. If you submit a 600x400 px image it won't make it into the calendar - I can almost guarantee that. There isn't an image upscaler in the world that could fix the stairstepping and artifacting from small source image, that is then enlarged for use in a big glossy calendar There is a big difference between a 72dpi image that is meant to be viewed in a thread vs a 300dpi image that is ultimately going to be printed. When it comes to print, high res is always better, and the designer of the calendar can do the necessary cropping & resizing.Originally posted by NautiqueJeffNO! My point was that you do not need the full size images just to see and vote on, only for the calendar itself. If a photo is chosen for the calendar, then I'm sure the person that took it would be happy to provide you with the full size image. JMO.Originally posted by NautiqueJeffNO! I've got a larger version of the picture I submitted. If you guys decide it's calendar worthy, I can resubmit it. Thanks for removing the rope, Adrian!Originally posted by NautiqueJeffNO! This is where I got the speaker covers: www.speakersox.com
Check on e-bay for speaker covers because they have listings on e-bay that are cheaper than their website.
Hope this helps,
Steven
