Which to buy 2022-2024 G23, G21, S23

I currently own a 2009 MasterCraft X14-V and I am interested in upgrading and would like your advice. Ideally, I would like to stay under $175k so this narrows down the selection on the Nautique side to a used 2022-2024 G23, G21 or S23. We mostly surf, cruise and swim, some wakeboarding, some tubing. I’m on a smaller 1,600 acre lake in MI and the depth at the end of my dock is only 36” (the lake itself is deep so no other draft concerns). I’ve been in a new 2027 G23 and 2027 S23 and a 2024 G21. The obvious wake winner is the G23. The S23 and G21 surf wake didn’t seem to be that distant 2^nd and 3^rd. Thoughts?
The reason we are even considering the S23 and G21 is because we liked the more sporty drivability and sitting up higher in the boat (probably because that is what we are used to) on both the S23 and G21. The G23 is just so deep that small people have a hard time seeing out. Size has not been an issue on our current 21’6” boat. Thank you for your perspectives.

You bring up some good points revolving around size and weight of surf craft. I had the same thoughts. Yesterday we were ripping around tubes during my son's "epic bro party IV" 4 dudes out on back, 2 or 3 in the boat. I would not want any bigger than the 21' I have for that,& for daily use as we live on the lake.

Yes surf is limited but you could add ballast to the smaller boats and if your net weight is on par, the wave should shape up.

if you go for the G23 (I have owned 3 of them) - do not buy the 2021. They had some significant issues. I owned one, endured a lot of maintenance, and switched into a 2022 - which has been reliable and fun.

I also owned an S23 and there is no question that it drives way better - but at the expense of the surf wave. There really is no comparison in my opinion.
