Please do not PM me directly asking for advice on how to repair your boat. While I would love to help everyone, I simply do not have time to respond to all of the inquiries. Please post your questions on the forum, so that all of our members have a chance to answer.

I believe you're referring to the end seal on Jabsco pumps that (if I remember correctly) is in the pump housing. These are bad news if the pump in mounted vertically with the pump body over the pump motor like many were back in the day. I have a 2016 boat and one of my pumps is mounted this way but many manufactures have moved to horizontal mounting or mounting the pump with the body below the motor where possible. The issue is when the seal goes bad (and they all do eventually), water enters the pump / bearing which in turn ruins the entire pump, which then requires the pump to be replaced.
I was able to solve this by relocating the pumps in my previous boat but due to space limitations in this boat this was not possible.
As to the question about the seal, if indeed this is the seal in question..... I did a ton of research on this some 10 years ago even reaching out to Jabsco with no joy. Their response back then was that they buy the motors / pumps assemblies from various vendors and are not able to source independent components of the motor or pump body which is where the seal is. At the time they wouldn't even sell me a pump body assembly separately from the motor.
One of the guys on that other ski boat forum was able to measure the seal and cross reference it to another seal but that went nowhere as every source for the seal at the time wanted to sell you 500 of them and wouldn't sell them independently. To this point I still have a couple pump assemblies that I tore apart sitting in a box somewhere in my basement that I should probably pitch. Kept them thinking that I may someday need one for parts but the parts that always fails are the ones that went bad before that you can't source.
You may want to try Jabsco or Johnson and see if things have changed with them and their ability to supply maintenance / repair parts.
