    Gs20 surf wake

Can anyone tell me how the new gs20 model compares to the old model in terms of surf wake?

I was investigating rudders and noticed Nautique changed for GS in 2021. So just a guess that might be to improve the surf wave.
I would also compare ballast and gating between the two.

However with some hassle, you could probably match or better anything factory with additional ballast and a suck gate.

Are you planning to attempt slalom skiing with it?

No I have a 2018 gs20 I was looking at the new GS 22 but it requires a lot of additional balance for me to serve compared to the old GS 22 we can serve our GS 20 with just a stock balance and it’s a pretty good week but I was looking for input on the new GS 20 because the dealer did not have one and didn’t want to bring one for us to demo

Wake not week. Trying to do this on my phone and the type is very small and voice texting is terrible

Rudder is bigger 0.5" all round. And for prop - I would look at what's there. Bigger both surfers better. Also the newer boats, Nautique cleaned up the hull sidewall so probably extends the wave vs anything chamfered.

Have you surfed behind a 2023 or newer gs20?
