Just test drove a 2025 G23 and loved the boat but hated the sight lines from the drivers seat. I am 6’4” and my wife is 6’2”. We both felt like we were staring straight into the upper rail of the windshield at idle and low speeds. We are looking at upgrading from a SAN 230 where we have the same issue. Wondering if any of you tall Nautique G23 2025 + model year users have addressed this issue? Looks like 2026 G23 have the electronic actuated seats that can lower from the previous year Paragon. Anyone have experience with those? Thanks!

Electronic actuated seats? Count me in!
Were you sitting on the bolster seat? I'm 6'4" and don't have that problem in my '22 (same design), although I will say if I have a crew up front and need to be on the bolster it almost puts me up too high, I need a happy medium like an actuated seat. Don't no why they haven't done that years ago, I think you just gave me an idea for a Winter project...

How hard good it be (on paper)? I wouldn't want to loose the swivel function, but I think that is incorporated into the seat bottom. I'm going to have to take a look at that, has anyone seen it done before?

My 2025 had the actuated seat, and it was a regular G23, not a Paragon. Are you SURE the boat you tested didn't have that ability? Please do not PM me directly asking for advice on how to repair your boat. While I would love to help everyone, I simply do not have time to respond to all of the inquiries. Please post your questions on the forum, so that all of our members have a chance to answer.

At 6'2" I ended up buying a 26 G23 with standard seats after test driving a G25 with actuated seats and not being able to find a height that I really liked. I don't love the sight line on the 26 G23. The problem isn't height of seating though. The windshield is more slanted and therefore sits shorter while the gunwales are slightly higher compared to 21-24 models. I don't think there's a line for me at 6'2" where I can look through the windshield and see in front of me sufficiently at surf speed without the top frame being somewhat in the way. You can go super high and sit above the windshield entirely but that's about it. The actuated seat plus bolster will get you that high. Or you can just live with the frame being in the way. The fact that the 2017 G23 tower ever made it out the door convinced me nobody over 6' tall even touches a Nautique until active production. This is just exhibit B for that.
