    2009 230 Gas Cap

    Does anyone have a line on a replacement gas cap for a 2009 -- 230 that doesn't cost more than $40 ?

Curious why you need to replace it.

I could see why you wouldn't want to pay $50 for a gas cap, but it's a legacy part at this point. Water/contamination in your fuel is going to cost more than $50 to remedy.

If it's just the O-ring, you can replace it cheaply. 3x41 mm is what you want: https://www.oringsandmore.com/fkm-o-...rice-for-1-pc/

The old cap fell into the lake when the chain failed while fueling.

I’d be happy to pay the $60 to have Nautique Pqrts ship that cap. But it says right on the page that it they don’t even know if it will fit. And if it doesn’t. I have to pay the cost both ways.

                Oh no! That totally sucks.

Mental note for Ryan to check that those chains are secure.

Broke down and bought the expensive one from NautiqueParts. It arrived quickly. FIt seems correct, the threads seem right. But it doesn't seem to sit flush on the top. Oh well. It seems to seal ok.
