Considering an S23 - Any Recommendations?

I'm considering replacing my current Axis with an S23. We are 90% wakeboarding, 8% slalom and 2% footing. In this case we'd have access to an OG XStar on the 205V hull that would be sufficient for our slalom and footing use. Maybe someday add a 90's era DD to the mix.
I've been reading through what I can find online and it appears to me that the biggest hold up from Nautique users here is concern about the price delta between the S and the G and some general dislike of the body lines. We've demoed it twice and prefer the wake over the G and, in our case, see a good difference in price between the two lines. I love the engineering of the boat and driving it is great.
Can anyone chime in on their experience with the boat? Wakeboard advanced would be very typical for our weighting - we're focused on ZZ6 in the 2023 models. Anyone have any nagging issues? Sufficient storage for your use (different mindset without huge bags in the rear lockers). What do you expect for the models ability to retain its value? There are no used S23s that I can find. But the very few remaining demo/dealer 2022 S23's are pretty cheap, relative to what I'm seeing. My impression is Nautique should hold its value well, but there are no used models in this case to back that up.
Any other thoughts would be appreciated. TIA.

Never really paid much attention to the S. These came on about the end of '21, does that sound right? Nice looking ship.
So at the end of the day, other than price, what's the big difference between the S & the G, other than 500 lbs of dry weight and a different bow (or is the hull design totally different)? So wtstapel are you saying that you feel the wake or wave better on the S over the G, or both in your comparisons? I will say I like that wider bow on the G's like adding a slide out on the motor home. I'll have to do a little more exploring, would love to take a ride in one. What kind of price points are you seeing on the S23, cresting the end of the Season in your area?

As far as holding value, Nautique does better than most of the industry but the G23 and to some extent the other G series boats do exceptionally well right now. I don’t think the S series will hold value on that level. Probably the best comparison will be the GS series, which is fine but not amazing. Also, we’re back to seeing prices soften in the off-season which wasn’t the case during COVID shortages. So price you’re seeing now will likely trend up some in the spring.

I don’t have experience with an S series but it sounds like the GS would check all your boxes. It has a great wakeboard wake and a really solid slalom wake. You can even foot it. My neighbor at the marina will occasionally barefoot in his GS24. He did put a slightly higher pitch prop on to do that though. It’s at least worth checking one out.

Yes, the model replaced the 230/210 line for 2022. The wake and hull are a bit different. I'll put the wakes on a scale - When I ride a full Paragon I find it to peaky. I absolutely must ride through the wake toeside or I'll be in the air bending backwards (clenching my lower back) and rolling the windows down. S wake was big had really nice pop, but is an easier ride, very smooth transition on both sides. We just find it very comfortable. G is somewhere in the middle on that scale. I know the G is super popular and my opinion for S>G wake would likely be in the minority.
G also has the in-floor cooler and battery set up so there is a bit better storage. There are some material differences as well. A bit more seadeck on the g rear hatch covers, different material on the flat section of the dash, and a traditional bow.
