Agreed, sucks about the pump but stuff happens... can be fixed. As for the sound, can you get a video of it and post it on youtube so we can hear it?

That sounds (at least on the video) almost more like something vacuum operated closing shut, or a breaker slamming shut. That doesn't sound like any noise I've heard an ICE make before.Comment

Ours makes the same noise when shutting it off. I asked the dealer about it and he said it's normal. He did tell me what it was but I don't remember what he said. It didn't do it on our 2015 but does it on the 2019 and on the 2020 loaner we had.

Interesting thread. My 2020 G23 does not make that noise that I have ever noticed. I will have to open the locker and listen cliser.

The noise makes my heart skip a beat every time I shut the boat off. I worked on cars for over 10 yrs and have been on a bunch of different boats and never heard anything like it. If you don't notice it on your own boat, then its not an issue because you would know. Personally I don't think the video does it justice as it sounds quite a bit louder in person but figured it would help in case someone else has had this issue. Sounds like a couple people are saying theirs sound similar so maybe I will just have to get used to it but it definitely sounds like there is something wrong. I brought a couple friends out this weekend and one of them asked about the noise without me even saying anything which IMO is of concern.Comment

Definitely should not make that noise based on your description. Glad mine does not.
Either there is an abnormality or a poorly engineered part. For the cost of these boats, they should be close to perfect both functionally and cosmetically.
