    Are heated seats worth it?

Hi! I am placing an order for a new G23. This will be my first Nautique. I have a good feel for what I want besides one option - I am debating the heated seats. I have a heated driver seat in my old xstar but it does not work well enough to be worthwhile. Despite being a freeze baby I never turn it on. In your opinion, do the Nautique heated seats work well enough to be useful? And if they do work well, for a rider that begins in early spring and does not quit till late fall, is the heated stet option worth it? Thanks all!

If you're ordering a boat that costs this much does it really matter? Sort of like ordering a high end luxury car without power windows..... kind of.

It does matter to me. I am reaching to get this boat. It is sad that top end wake boats have inflated so much since I started riding but that's the reality of it - and another topic entirely.

Heated seats are a must-have here in Seattle. My experience with my past 5 G23s is that they work well.

Seems like a ledigitmate question and weak analogy to me. Do roll down windows even exist anymore?

My wife would say it's a 'must have' and that's enough for me. I can say that the observer side/loveseat heats up really well and works just like a high end car would. I haven't used the driver seat but personally, I wouldn't uncheck that box on a new G23.

Fair enough, showing my age I guess. Picked up a 70 Mach 1 this summer. Guess what it doesn't have? Probably where that came from. How about leave off the lighted and heated/cooled cup holders and get the heated seats?

Zac is also spot on. When heated seats were just becoming a thing I took the wife to the dealer to pick out her new car. They had 2 very similarly optioned SUVs there. She liked the color on the one but the other had heated seats and steering wheel. Guess which one she took. She hasn't had a car since without those 2 options.....

I agree with most of the above. The heated seats gets my wife in the water probably a month early and extends her season into October, mine into November. Well worth it I think.

Here in Texas the only two options I think we didn't get on the boat were a heater and heated seats... instead we got the extended sun shades front and rear and those work very well. We typically ride March through October into November, and haven't needed a heater or heated seats yet. But, it's a different climate down here compared to Ohio.

I use the heated seats often.

Other may disagree but I got the heater vs heated seats in my 2017 G23 which was a bad move. The heater sucks IMHO and was a waste of money . I wish I had ordered heated seats instead. When I get my next Nautique I will definitely get heated seats and no heater.

Yep....i'm with Bird_Dog. Texas.....No heater or heated seats in the boat....BUT...love my heated seat and heated steering wheel in my truck for sure. When I ordered my 21 G23 I really thought this time about options I had in the past...that I never used...at all. So I left them off this order and put a few thousand into the gas tank. ****....just leaving the stern thruster off....I bought 10,000 lotto tickets..........LOL

Kenv, man I LOVE the thruster and would not buy a boat this size without it. But in my old boat we had a heater and never used it, at all, ever. I'm with you on the heated seats/steering wheel in the truck though but I use it all winter whereas I do not use the boat all winter.

Depends entirely on your season and climate where you use. Here in northern MN if your going anytime other than mid June to mid August they are both practically required (other than extreme years like this one).
