The base on mine doesn't look like anything special and uses what appears to be a standard slider set.
When I was looking last year my choice came down to 2 boats, a 2015 and a 2016. I liked the colors and trailer better on the 2015 but the driver's seat on the 2015 was a turn off compared to the 2016. Past that the boats were very close with the edge on condition and options going to the 2015. Being 6'1" and 225 the comfort of the new seat pushed me over to the 2016. I still think about it being kind of nuts having something like a driver's seat being the final tie breaker. If I could have retro fitted the newer seat into the 2015 for under $2K I would have bought the 2015. Never got an answer as to if you can by the seat from Nautique parts.

I wonder if you could retrofit the new style seat in the older boats. Wouldn't be cheap but the seat they started using in 2016 is very comfortable and much more usable.

It will be hard on that boat. The narrow beam of that year 210 makes rotating the chair near impossible because of the location of the throttle lever.

captains chair change
have a 2001 super sport and looking to change out captains chair to something that is more comfortable to turn toward spotter seat/rear? swivel? or more bench like to accommodate diff driver sizes and for hanging out. find he bucket seat too limiting.
any info or experience appreciated. thanks in advance.Tags: None
