Uhhh no. Unfortunately I sold my 6.7 F350 a couple months ago to a kid that absolutely couldn’t wait until my new one I’ve had on order for four months now arrives (rolled off assembly line yesterday). So I have been driving a 6.2 F250 gas burner. It’s been fine around home for work and back and forth to the lake because it’s relatively flat. But even that, there’s still a huge gap between 3/4 and 1 ton, granted I’m sure I’m skewed by the diesel aspect more than anything. With transfer tank, toolbox and tools, my old F350 tipped the scales at just over 10k itself. The tail never wagged the dog on the way here, but I just didn’t feel “planted” like a F350 with roughly 3k extra weight itself in engine, transfer tank and toolbox. I currently don’t have extras in this truck bed. Any time I hit an incline, immediately to 3rd gear 4500 rpm+. This may be more of a diesel vs gas gripe for me than anything. Anyhow, 1/2 ton, only if I was pulling around the block.

Methinks that’s a gas versus diesel deal. You will love the new 10 speed behind the new 6.7. I love mine.

Memerr......this line right here might have been true with the OLDER Fords...but not with the 2011s and up; But even that, there’s still a huge gap between 3/4 and 1 ton, granted I’m sure I’m skewed by the diesel aspect more than anything. There is NOT a huge gap between the 3/4 and 1 ton....it is definitely a gas vs diesel thing more than a "250/350 thing" UNLESS...you are talking dually vs single.
