Those with a GS 20, 22 or 24, has anyone come up with a creative way to store skis? Perhaps a way involving the strapless board racks. I see us having at least one pair of combos and three slalom, on the boat at once with a crew, this summer. Thanks in advance.

I like the idea, but that one looks a bit dated. It would be great if someone made a nice reasonably priced one (HAHA), that matched the current styling and bolted up.

We replaced one of our racks with the ski rack from Roswell. However, skis are better protected (we have a couple of HO Omni skis) if you replace the tines with the rubber coated wakeboard ones. It isn’t cheap, but works perfectly. The rack fits onto the existing mounts. Also, my dealer said you can put skis up on the Bimini instead of surf boards. That would get you two up top, two on the rack and two in the under seat storage....

Yup, I’m in the same boat (literally!). We just bought our 2020 GS22 and we spend all of our time surfing and skiing. We each have our own HO Free Ride ski (69” for me, 65” for my boys, and a pink one for the wife!), so that means we have 3 single skis and 2 surfboards to stash around the boat (we don’t wakeboard). When we surf, the pro ballast bags don’t let me stash the skis in the lockers. I thought I could jam the skis into the board racks, but that’s a no go. I hadn’t thought about popping the skis into the Bimini surf pockets, so I’ll give that a go tomorrow and shoot out some pics. Ideally, I’d love to get a similar set up that we had on our Moomba (which we traded in for our GS 22) with a lower set of swivel board racks and an upper set of ski racks ....

Thanks for the suggestion, surf pockets do indeed work great for ski storage ..... we were out yesterday with 9 people, 3 surfboards and 2 slalom skis, and using the surf pockets for the skis (one in each pocket) lets us clear the storage for our Pro Ballast bags to fill for surfing while not having to leave the skis on the floor of the boat.
Since we ski a lot, I’m still thinking about biting the bullet and buying the Roswell Elite Ski Rack that bolts right onto our GS22, but this is a more than a workable solution for now. I’m told you can mount the Nautique-emblem tines from the stock board rack directly onto the ski rack so it looks consistent on both sides, but allows you to the ability to put skis on your tower with the wider ski rack. Thanks for all the great help on this, and I’ll let you guys if I end up pulling the trigger on the plug n’ play Roswell rack.
