Nautique announced the Paragon is pulling the Nautique surf comps for 2020. No word what is pulling the Nautique wake series.

I was on the boat with Noah when he rode for the first time behind the boat tonight. He was seriously in shock.Originally posted by greggmck View PostNoah has posted this about the wakeboarding wave of the Paragon... I guess he likes it!
The wakeboard wake is the best I have ever seen from any boat. Incredible.
Such a fun day today riding behind this boat and watching others ride!!!
Here's some video. Keep in mind that this was Noah's very first time wake boarding behind this new boat!

Saw your post so I thought I would share a better photo for you. And yes it surfs and wakeboards incredibly.Originally posted by BoatGuy2019 View PostDid anyone else notice how freezing large the NSS covers are? In the video, when Adam put his hand up to it, I’m pretty sure it is nearly twice the size of the standard G (square inch surface wise). Plus it goes to the bottom of the hull and when extended it appears to extend out significantly further out that the standard G.

I've been watching the instagram stories of riders out on the boat today and the wakeboard wake doesn't look heaps and bounds larger than G/star but I pay more attention to the surfing aspects now. Looked a bit more bow up with Noah Flegel riding than I usually see Gs but could just be he likes all the weight in the back for a super steep wave.
Agree that the NSS plates are much larger and in the video I heard they extend about 4" I think? Current G is around 2" ? So definitely displacing more water off the side.
The boat is gorgeous and the engineering makes everyone else look like a joke. M240 looks very rushed in comparison -- just throw a bunch of things on to compete with a G but they aren't thoughtfully done the way Nautique innovates.
4 12" subs from the factory is amusing and I'm not complaining about that -- though porting the 2 that come with studio elite now would go a long way.
Those transom loungers are prime though, first time I've seen any that look remotely comfortable to really relax. Sadly I would never use them :/
Lastly have to agree increasing the dry weight and decreasing ballast seems counter-intuitive and makes all obvious weight related things more difficult (trailer, lift, acceleration, etc). I too wonder why not increasing ballast capacity vs building in more dry-weight. Until we learn more I'm calling that one a miss on engineering, though heavily outweighed (pun intended) by the attention to detail everywhere else.
Can't wait to hop on one of these bad boys when they hit the dealers
PS those extended sun shades are silly. I didn't use the walkthrough air-dam on my last boat because it wasn't as convenient as the pull-out version. But this probably speaks to their market? I'm sure we will see a few of these boats on the west shore of Tahoe.

GMLIII is correct. It comes on all with a stern thruster and has basically since it came out. Not the first few runs, but shortly thereafter.Originally posted by core-rider View Post
HUH... seriously!?! Why do you need auxiliary exhaust while using the thruster? It is electric right!?! I've not noticed this on other boats with the thruster, but then again I don't know that I've seen a factory-mounter thruster boat transom view to possibly see the additional exhaust thru-hull.

And I somewhat retract my statement as the full walkthrough video implies as good as or better than the regular G23 but would like confirmationOriginally posted by c640947 View Postwhile i know "wakeboarding" doesnt sell wakeboarding boats anymore, nothing has been said about the wakeboard wake on this thing. And I agree with the weight thing.... many folks had to upgrade to 3/4 ton trucks and 8000-9000 lbs boat lifts with the G23 but this thing will potentially cause the need for yet another set of secondary upgrades. Its heavy and tall. Plus just cruising around the lake it is 1500 lbs heavier than my G.... doesnt sounds very friendly.... to shoreline, kids /beginner wakeboarding, gas tank, etc. Its not a money thing, its more handling / performance issue etc. Maybe this is just meant to be a Pavati competitor and fill a space the market has unfilled right now ... all the options at a higher cost. I guess that goes back to what everyone is saying: is it really worth 100k over a regular G from a performance standpoint?
lets put those rear seats and some of that styling on a regular G and Im in (and not make the regular G any taller or heavier). Go with fill-able ballast over dry weight please.Last edited by c640947; 10-07-2019, 03:42 PM.
