I would just go for it. Considering it is around 150, I would just do it and if you find that you cant stand it just do it again with something else in year or two.
I always use semi-gloss black, and it turns out great. That said, another color may look pretty cool.

Sweet! I have a friend with a 66’ survivor (flood car) and it is a blast to drive. He really wants to do a restoration but can’t quite pull the trigger.
