How many hours do people see out of the PCM330 motor if it痴 well maintained? Just curious what to expect

I知 not sure . Mine had around 800 when I sold it but that痴 a good question .

That motor should last well through 1,500 hours or more if properly maintained.

I love my 03!


I have 1050 hrs on her and the 330 still runs strong. Everything else is slowly needing to be replaced but the engine and transmission are strong.

I致e talked to some people who run a ski school and they are board school with well over 2k hours on there PCM 330 and they don稚 skip a beat. They run 15w40 oil now.
Spoke with some people that have similar hours and they said they noticed slightly low oil pressure at idle and switched oil and no problems just low at idle (under 10 psi)

I just got my '03 210 two years ago after looking at a LOT of boats for a lot of years (always focused on Nautiques though). We absolutely love it.

My biggest complaint for sure would be the ballast system; I can't wait to rip out the individual pumps and do three 2-way ballast pumps. All the info you'd need to do that is here on this forum, just search around or ask if you can't find it.

Yes the 6 pumps is quite a pain in the ***, I have already replaced 2 of them, I値l definitely get some pics when I get it out of the garage for the year!!

It is a pain, but then, every time I ride with friends who have fatsacs and the pump over the side I think, "oh yeah, built in is better even when it's a pain"

Where my kids are little, I don't use my ballast that much. I'll wait until they're old enough to care and/or to help me before I do anything drastic. I expect even doing it all myself, I'll come close to $1,000 in parts between the pumps, hoses, switches, and hardware. Plus a solid day of work, ideally with help.

I actually would rather have the built in hard tanks, I just need to disconnect those crappy helm controls that say they let air in, mine are all stuck and don稚 move or do anything

On the hard tanks, yeah, I don't really mind using them (in particular the belly tank) but I want to ditch the in/out pumps and those terrible valves, too. I don't bother with the ones up by the helm, I use the ball valves for each of the rear tanks and the one by the belly tank each to shut them off.
