I'm sure this question/debate has been asked/started before (I'm new and learning) but was wondering if anyone with an all Mojave interior has noticed the vinyl being noticeable hotter than white.....and I get that darker colors are typically hotter. But is there a noticeable difference? I'm in Texas and it get HOT. Love the all mojave look but wondering if I'll pay the price in the Texas sun. Lemme know your thoughts please. Thank you.

I'm curious to see if you can get a good answer on this as well. The problem is, anyone that bought in brown is going to be reluctant to admit it's hot. Same as the people that bought black Sea-Dek and never respond to questions about how hot it is in the summer sun....

We have a GS22 with a mostly white interior but gray and mojave trim. We also have a friend with a g23 that has mojave as their primary color. We are in North Carolina. The mojave is noticeably warmer than the white in the sun. You will definitely feel the difference.

Still surprised no one has posted results of a thermal test with inferred temp gun on lighter vs darker vinyl.
Seems like the most accurate way to get the answer.2009 Super Air Nautique 210 TE
2006 Super Air Nautique 210 TE

I love the looks but I’m in Texas too and there is no way I would buy a Mojave interior. Besides the comfort factor while you own the boat, I think you should consider the resale impact. Maybe I’m off base on this but I think many in Texas are going to avoid dark vinyl colors over a fear about heat.
Whatever happened to Nautique introducing cool touch vinyls? This was mentioned several months ago but nothing has hit the market to my knowledge

Charles is correct here but I will admit it is hotter than white. l love my Mojave interior look and since we have relatively mild summers in the state of Virginia, I can deal with the hot fabric most of the time. If I lived in Texas, I would in no way order a Nautique with Mojave interior; it would be only White.Originally posted by charlesml3 View PostI'm curious to see if you can get a good answer on this as well. A dealer friend told me that the cool touch gets a little hotter over time as the fabric breaks in. No way I would even think of it in Florida unless you want your entire interior covered with towels. I say it all the time...I also love galvanized trailers so I consider practical as beautiful....

Do a complete white boat for Texas., There is an interesting thread on this site showing many solid white Nautiques which are very classy and timelessOriginally posted by Hotsoup View PostAll interesting points. I appreciate the input. Ordering my first Nautique and learning about the boats. Now if I could only make a **** decision on color combos....

GMLIII - I think that is a thread I just started a day or so ago. That's exactly what I was thinking.....love the way they look in pictures just worried it may be "boring" in person. I was thinking of doing all white with the Mojave. But now thinking all frost grey main, Mojave seat boxing, gun metal accent after the other thread "Mojave vs. white interior"
Just wondering if I should throw gun metal flake or admiral flake on the front strip to jazz it up a bit. What do you/anyone think? All white or all white with a little flake? Gun metal would look really good and blend well.....admiral flake would complete that nautical color scheme with the mystic white main and hull, tan sea deck, and frost grey interior.

I didn’t realize you started the White thread but I’m glad you did because it gave me some ideas. I know everyone has thier own opinions or preferences but I still think the Action Sports G23 demo boat I posted on your thread is awesome. Love the all white with screaming red interior with red exterior chromax lettering, but there again red interior may be very hot on Texas summers . This color combo may be my next boatOriginally posted by Hotsoup View PostGMLIII - I think that is a thread I just started a day or so ago. I also love that boat. Always wanted a white droptop vette with red leather....that's what this boat reminds me of. I really dig it but I think it would be just too hot in Tejas and it limits the resale demographic imo. I'd take it take it! This is the combo I was thinking of....much more mundane than the read but I think it's pretty classy....
