Core-rider beat me to pretty much the same thought. Rex has been pretty silent on what broke. Over on CCF we speculated that tensioner broke, he didnt stop with increasing temps, fried the engine. He seems to think he can bring down the whole company and get the whole management team fired. I'm pretty sure thats not going to happen. Stuff breaks, even new, good stuff. No car or boat dealer guarantees that stuff wont break, they guarantee they will fix stuff if it does break. Not sure stuff breaking warrants a lawsuit, and I have a feeling the lawyers will agree. Maybe "the law" is different in Denmark and we yankees just dont get it. I know I sure dont get it at this point. My tire had a "material breach" on the way to work one morning.....firestone is still in business.

man you got a knack for stating the obvious...irritating as ****. my point is it is a known problem and nautique is treating people like crap - regarding the breaking shafts...you disagree? man up and say it...and if so i hope your **** shaft breaks 3 times after your warranty ends...cause one guy had it break twice...

They cover the shafts breaking; both parts and labor under warranty.
The majority of these shafts fell between late 2013 models through early 2015 models.
I had my 2014 G shaft replaced before it broke at no cost to me - hurray for warranty! I've since put 600 hours on.
How exactly would you like Nautique to respond since you think they are treating people like crap? Press conference? Public apology? CEO resign? Free 2018 models for everyone that had a shaft break?2012 SANTE 230

"How exactly would you like Nautique to respond?" I have been very consistent in many many threads...I want nautique to pay parts and labor regardless of warranty for this known problem. If they want a cap, pick a number of hours like 1000...
That is my personal expectation...You want me to call you and talk slow into the phone?
What color is your nautique kook-aid?

Yes...For example my boat - before i got it - had shaft replaced, and only parts were provided. I think for out of warranty this is the norm...This was in March of 2017 on a 2014 g21, with under 300 hours...He was 2nd owner...
Like I said, there are lots of examples of nautique providing parts only.
It just don't seem reasonable to me. Like the guy that is on his 3rd shaft...

I thought the SS Minnow was a Fish Nautique?
All joking aside, I only posted the pics to show it's not uncommon to see MC's and CC's on the ocean, once you get outside the US. Some seemed to think Rex was the most irresponsible guy on the planet for doing so.'08 196LE (previous)

I would call Troll/bored kid to be honest. No specifics as to what broke and what else was taken out at the same time. The dealer network in Europe is limited compared to the USA, but given our isolation, the quality of the network, from a mechanical perspective is generally high owing to the requirement to be self proficient.
