If looks were that important, we'd all be driving a classic Chris Crafts. I think the older model X45 and the current 230 look way better than the G or the newer MC's.

Partially true on Decedence...it will hold hair, but it's easy to power wash out. I like Seadek, but it's so nice to be able to just pull out Decadence/ snap out carpet for cleaning.
MC does need to step up the game on promoting the features.

Heard the decadence holds long womens hair great, have to pull it out with tweezers.... Sea deck is the way to go...

Need to see more details such as: where is the trash can. The G puts it in a great spot. What about any flip up seats like the G? Need more video on the particulars.

This video was the hype video...if anyone bothered to look they would find a 'Product Overview' video on Mastercraft's website (still not a great feature video IMO but it's something).

I couldn't agree more. The video was all over the top pro rider, alt lifestyle fluff and very limited real info about the boat. Not a very good balance of info. Like it or not the vast majority of buyers for these boats is 40-50 years with the discretionary income to swing it. Popping huge air while going under a railroad bridge is not my demographic and doesnt make me go "wow I gotta have this boat". If anything it makes me think this is way more boat than I need.Originally posted by Tallredrider View PostSo much for marketing to old fat guys with 150 grand in their back pocket...I actually thought the music was awesome until it went all screamo on me.
As to the boat I don't dislike the lines of the hull. All these boats are behemoths and the swooping rub rail takes away some of the tank look IMO. I don't care for the windshield lines or the height of the windshield. It doesn't fit the overall boat. I also can't believe the thing has carpet but I would expect you can option it with Seadek but I'm not sure of that since they spent more time showing fluff in the release video.

That loose vinyl is likely due to someone just stepping on the seat. "Cool feel" doesn't seem to bounce back as fast as standard vinyl...at least from the couple of boats I've seen with it.
The exhaust has to be just the humidity and air conditions.

I've always liked the lines of an x star. We see them frequently out on the lake and personally I think they look better than the G boats . Can't comment on performance though as I've never ridden one . But the quality looks very nice up close

I agree. The 200 definitely needs an update.Originally posted by swc5150Agree 100%. After 4 Nautiques in a row, we switched to a Prostar. Better wake, better options and better price than a 200 made it a no-brainer. MC will be detailing some really advanced technology on the X later this week, from what I understand.

I love the G. Wake rocks, but it looks and handles like a tank. I'm hoping the xstars wake is as good as the G's. The lines make it rock! Not boxy at all.

I forgot about that! So Dowdy can do a dub roll to blind with the backside rotation in the first roll OR the second. Insane.
I think there are going to be some heavy dub variations unveiled for trick of the year at surf expo. Should be epic! I love big wakes regardless of the tags on the boat. Great for the sport.

dowdy did a double back roll 2 blind back in 2013. https://vimeo.com/61573777 (at the end of the video...the blind rotation is at the begining of the trick).Originally posted by mgs917 View PostI saw the thread on wakeworld, they said it was harley with the double tantrum to blind.
evening shade-I think the impressive part is he took it to blind. not sure if anyone has done that yet. I think Dowdy was working on taking one of his doubles to blind.
