Angle of NCRS at rest and at 5 (fully retracted)

    I have a 2015 G23.

The NCRS on my boat (on trailer, motor off),. has a slight downward angle relative to the running surface of the hull. If I put a 4' straightedge along the bottom of the boat so that it extends out over the entire NCRS plate, there is a +/- 1/4" gap between the leading edge of the NCRS and the straightedge.

    My questions:

    1. Is this typical?

    2. Will it affect the wake? (I wouldn't think such a small amount would have any impact, but the reason I checked is because two other G23s I ride seem to have a bit more kick at the top of the wake w/o stacking lead in the very stern of the boat....to get what I consider the equivalent wake, I'm running 250lbs of lead at the very back of the rear storage compartments.)

    3. Is there a way to adjust the NCRS to bring the trailing edge up a bit? I haven't looked under the plate that covers the actuator to see if there is an adjustment.

    4. Does the NCRS at 5 take a different position when the boat is underway vs. when it is on the trailer with motor off? If so, then my measurement is meaningless.

    Thanks!
