Ok I will try NSS at 2-3 and move the 150 lbs of lead on port bow to port locker and move the 150 lbs on port pull-out bench seat to starboard locker and keep the 200 lbs under port observer seat alone. Also to note NSS on the 2017 G23 max is at 0 and not 5 but I don't know if that was the case on the 2013 G23. Thanks for your help on this

If your referring to max as in maximum extension of the plate then yes it's the always been the same. 0 extends the plate maximum but in reality it dumbs down the wave by making the water converge further behind the boat. 0 on nss creates the most drag of that makes sense.Originally posted by GMLIII View PostOk I will try NSS at 2-3 and move the 150 lbs of lead on port bow to port locker and move the 150 lbs on port pull-out bench seat to starboard locker and keep the 200 lbs under port observer seat alone. Well a liquid force KEEN is a skim style board so that's just too fast for skim anyways. Nolan is surf style along with the HC pro he rides. I ride HC pro too for surf and just so happen to ride the KEEN for skim. I ride the 52" keen and honestly it's a bit of a slow board, but I love it now for skim. Im around 175Originally posted by GMLIII View Post
Maybe somewhat but even my 58 inch Phase 5 Ahi struggled at the 12.5 mph speed. The 60 inch noted above was a Liquid Force Keen

Yeah I messed around with both boards at that 12.5 speed and both struggled to hold the push . Keen and Phase 5 Ahi .
The Ahi was a Surf style board and still struggled. I need to tweak my shot bags as Nolan suggested to even the boat out more . I had 500 lbs of shot on port side with all ballasts filled which made boat unbalanced to port side
