Wakesurfing off the coast on G23 Coastal-is the wake still clean in crappy waters?

Hi, what is your experience with wakesurfing off the coast in crappy waters/minor surf? Does the G23 create a good and clean enough wake to surf in spite of ocean waters with some waves and uneasy waters?

We are on the coast and will have

We have a surf shop on the coast in Denmark, North of Copenhagen in a small surf & summer town called Hornbaek. We will make waves using the boat when there are none. Our plan is to drive the boat whenever it is +5 Celsius / 41F to get more people on the water and to create a way of consistant waves and thereby consistant surf for those who are committed to surfing. If you are interested, you can follow our endeavours here: https://www.facebook.com/hornbaeksurfshop/

Salt water will have good push/boyancy. We surf coastal with a ton of rollers and it can make it challenging for new riders.

Thanks for sharing, Outdoorjp. Great to hear that you surf coastal even in rougher waters. Do you have any youtube clips of what it looks like? Best. Rex

Yes. This will work, but the swell can affect the wave to where it will push you out of the wave.

Also surf the side of boat protected from the oncoming swell.

I have done this out of Oceanside CA on a calm day.

Regular surfers going roughly south (on land side) and goofy going back north.
