How tall is the 2017 tower? Does anyone have a clearance measurement from floor to bottom of speakers.

Was this an advertised "feature" for 2017??? I can't remember ever reading about the tower being lower. Why on earth would you make the tower shorter?

I would be unable upgrade to a future G because of the increased height in tower. While boat is on the water, I need to pass under a bridge where I currently have only a few of inches clearance. When lake is high in beginning of the season I actually have to fill ballast to fit under (2017 G).

If I didn’t have the bridge limitation I must admit though it would be nice to have extra headroom. So I guess ideally for my situation they could put the anchor light/awareness camera on a hinge or some like solution.

Couldn't agree more. The height of the new G is pretty insane. My cousins 28 Sea Ray Sport Cruiser with a radar arch fits under the bridge near our home. The new G would not.

We'll probably find out before I can test it out. I won't be receiving mine till mid August, but I'll be sure to do a write up and answer any questions I'm able to.

Did you get a chance to test the Pebble watch integration with the 2018 yet? I'm pretty sure it'll work just fine with the latest firmware and app, but I was hoping someone would get a chance to really do an in-person test.

Are you talking about the height of the tower while up or while down?

Did anyone confirm that the new tower is taller when down? It is quite easy to put it down, where I bet there is no difference in height.

I am talking about when the tower is up. I pass under the bridge enough where it would be undesirable to fold tower down every time.

I am unsure of height difference of new tower when down.

If a couple inches really gets you under or not, two seconds to just break the tower lose and lean it forward with everything in place would get you under. Certainly nothing to keep from an upgrade if you really want the changes.

I have done the process of lowering the tower while driving the boat. I personally found it challenging while steering the boat to disconnect the Bimini knobs, then disengage the tower cams, then lower the assembly. I had to leave the helm too much to do the steps, and the channel is pretty narrow. Once the tower is down it’s also a bit challenging to just steer and adjust throttle because of where the tower lays. It absolutely is something I don’t want to do on every outing.

I have nothing against how the tower folds, the design is great, just not a viable option for my particular situation while under way.

I could see that being just one more hurdle in all of the things a guy has to do to make a boat trip work.

I am usually solo in the boat when I’m there, it’s where I gas up and/or “gather” food and drinks for the crew and family. It’s a nice ritual.

-Cup holder lights are RGB. Also, behind the driver's seat the "Nautique badging" is lit (photo w/ purple LEDs). I assume the badging in the interior of the transom walkthrough will also be LED lit.

-Multiple BlueTooth Connection? Is this already an option(not yet a SAN owner)? Notice in the LINC Pano display you can see two separate gopro images. Can we hook up phone for audio (BT), NSS, and multiple gopros all linked up and functioning at once?

-New Gel Coat Colors - The left Image, Silver, is possibly the new "Medallion," and it's hard to tell, but it looks like there may be a slight redish tint to it? Maybe that's just what they're calling the new grey metal flake. I believe the center image, Orange, is probably the new "Solar Red."

-New Tower - I like the extra head room. I constantly bonk the noggin on speakers. Not a big fan of the fin above the color break, but the new rack looks great.

IF the new Linc system has good integration with a GoPro in place then hooking up to both a phone and a GoPro shouldn't be an issue should it? Because doesn't a GoPro connect using Wifi and not BT? I'm just speculating as this is how I operate things on my Can Am X3 side by side. I have an iPad mounted on the dash that I use for GPS, bluetooth music to radio, and wifi for the backup camera...all simultaneously.

I did link up my pebble to the boat and it worked great!

I did encounter some problems though. When I linked my watch to the boat I could not get the boat to respond to my watch. Ex: I would turn the volume up on my watch, but there was no increase in volume. I ended up having the boat "forget" the watch, then had my phone "forget" the watch, and finally re-synced the watch with the boat and everything seemed to be working great after that!

Yea, it has to be the latest then. The watch will always try to update itself it isn't on the latest version. Makes sense. The 2017 ran the latest too. Now all I need is for someone with a 2018 SAN 210 or 230 with Surf Select to report back on how that works. Starting in 2018, the Hydrogate is now on an actuator. I'm hoping that'll just map to "NCRS" on the Pebble...
