Removing snaps cover snaps in gelcoat

Has anyone ever removed snaps from the gelcoat and repaired them? Wondering if this is possible and how much it might cost.

Are you talking about the ones with the Phillips head in the middle? Just unscrew them.

Yes, it's easy...just did it last year on my old boat. Remove them with a screw gun, and fill the holes with gelcoat repair from nautiqueparts. There's some sanding and buffing involved on the new gelcoat, but nothing a novice (me) couldn't handle.
