I did it the same way Grant did. Used cardboard as a template, taped the angle I wanted in the cardboard and then had a local plastics company cut and bend the plexy for me. I'm not exactly sure how they do it but I'd feel pretty certain they apply some heat to it in order to make the bend.

American Plastic Distributors in Grandview, right next to Brazenhead did it for me. Did it pretty quickly and wasn't terribly expensive.
BTW Todd, haven't seen you down on Griggs any at all this season. Have you been putting in up at O'Shaugnessy or Alum?'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Thanks! I will order the tracks and plan on making it during the winter.
Joe --
I have not dropped in at Griggs this year. I have either been at Alum --Yuck!-- or Lake Cumberland --Smooth as Glass--. 6 1/2 hour drive and I'm there! Not something you do every weekend, but I have been down about 5 or 6 times this summer. Around here I have trouble finding a third (sometimes a second as well!) Gets a little frustrating when you have all of the equipment (even the boat) and you can't find the people to ride.SocBum

Agreed that Cumberland is the bomb but it's a tad too far a drive for me, at least with any regularity. On weekends we have glass from sunrise through 10:00 or 11:00 AM on Griggs. Not sure why folks can't seem to get going early on weekends, but it's to my advantage! PDT_001
That is the pits, though, you can't always find a 3rd. I can certainly understand the situation as about five years ago I was almost willing to PAY people to go out with me! As luck would have it I encountered a few hardcore riders over a July 4th weekend a while back and got absorbed into a whole crew that loves to get out on the water. Now I can almost always fill my boat to max. Definitely a good setup!
Let me know if you decide to tackle that windblock.'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Finishing touches just in time for winterization. Picked up the bag for storage just this weekend so the windblock doesn't get too scratched up. Once again, another idea pioneered by Grant!'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Wait can you do that, for copyright reasons? I wanna get a patch like that also, I wan't get it sewn onto the back of my ski jacket for the winter...I Nautique, therefore I am.

I contacted CC a while back about getting permission to reproduce their logo for similar reasons and they said no dice. However, they also said as long as there is some minute difference in the copied logo it was ok. It's pretty difficult to notice in the pic, but the arc that goes through the N isn't exactly the same (the silver and gray are reversed).'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Haha nice way to get around it.. So is that digitized now as a file, or was it done by hand?? Do you think any taylor could put the "NAUTIQUES" logo on something just by looking at a printed copy on paper?I Nautique, therefore I am.
