Buy a new GS20 or stay with 210

I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. Originally we were ordering a new G21 but then the GS20 came out.

On the other hand we love our 15 210. It does everything we want and more . The only complaint I have is how rough it rides in chop.

    What's your thoughts?

Sort of in the same situation. Took our 2015 210 to Buxtons this fall to sell. Looked at the GS20 but was afraid it would feel too small. The 2017 210 w/6.0 motor was appealing, esp with the rebates offered, but our boat didn't sell so we're just gonna stay pat for this year. My only complaint is like yours. Pretty rough when the lake gets choppy. We're on the north end of our lake and typically travel down lake and the return trip can be uncomfortable with wind and boats.

I had a GS20 at my dock for a few days, and the rough water ride impressed me.

If the wakeboard wake of the GS20 is better than the 210, then it would be worth considering. But i doubt it is. The 210 wake is pretty hard to beat as it is.

I've looked at the GS 20 several times and there is a lot to like about that boat but each time I came away liking it, not loving it.
The seating area feels small to me - it's a foot shorter than my 210 and has more space in the bow so I guess the main seating area should feel smaller.
          I'm 6' 2"......the tower lower than I would like.
A few smaller details: Not liking the location of the batteries or the garbage can and the deep grooved seadek on the helm wouldn't be my first choice.

If I didn't already own a boat I'm not sure if I'd buy the GS 20 or the 210, already owning a 2015 210 and being completely satisfied with it and the wave it creates, I'm not considering going to the GS 20.

Hmmm, the decision gets tougher. The GS22 completely rules out a GS20 for me.
Anxious to go look at it.

Yes...looks pretty good. Nice to continue to see size options added to the line. I'll be keeping my '15 G21 until 2020. I'm on the every 5 year plan. Have to see what things look like then. Good luck with your boat search and decision.

Gs22 sounds good but what about prices ? I mean why would you spend more than a G21?

Unless your an avid skier I don't see it

Just bought my 210 a few weeks ago and love it. I could have bought a GS20 or a G21 but for my size lake and the fact that we arent much of a skiing family.............the 210 was the best choice.

Go with what will work for you.

Lucky7t, I was close to buying your 210, but picked another one after driving the GS and the 210 at my local dealer (sorry about that). In any event, the surf wave of the GS was noticeably better in stock form, and the acceleration and top speed of the GS (42mph vs 38) made it a better choice for barefooting. I didn't slalom behind either boat, but my decision came down to cockpit space - the 210 is definitely bigger. At the time I told my dealer if he had a 22, I'd be all over it. Now I'm considering trading my 210 on the 22. Time will tell...

I have a 2011 210 so my cockpit space may be smaller than yours, but my boat doesn't feel any bigger than a friends MC X-2 which is a 20 ft boat. Based on manufacturer dimensions, the GS20 is slightly bigger than the MC X-2. I maybe just trying to talk myself into a GS20, but if its as big inside as a MC X-2 I would be happy with it.

I noticed the bow room in the GS over the 210 for sure but sitting 3 in the bow is not important to me. Both boats have merits but definitely a personal preference based on usage.
