Similar experience here. 29 gallons used over 4.5 engine hours. 33% wakeboarding at full ballast, 33% wakesurfing at full ballast. 33% cruising speeds w/o ballast.
    6.4 gallons per hour.
$15-$20/hour to run the boat which makes me very happy.

if you don't need to bring crazy weights up to 23, or only surf, or only moderate weights to 23, you can add pitch to bring rpms down and save gas. Bringing super heavy weights over 14-17mph is very very hard.

running a higher pitched 16x15.5, I get 5-7gph heavy 4-5000lbs surfing and 8-11gph average for everything else.
What RPM's at surf and wakeboard speeds?

Love seeing these numbers and hope I get similar. Even 7-8 would be acceptable.

When I pull two tubes with 2 teens per tube I think I get like 65 gallons per hour. I can't wait until they hate tubing...
