Just Bought 2003 Correct Craft Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition

Just purchased a 2003 Correct Craft Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition. Grew up on Malibu's and Mastercrafts but fell in love the the SANTE. Since I'm new to the boat I have a few questions. First would be what a good ballast set up for this boat would be. This boat does not have any stock ballast in it. We are skiers first but do wakeboard. Also want to get into surfing this year. Anything else good to know about the SANTE? Add a pic, what do you think of the decal? Was thinking of adding a different decal. Also, need a Bimini top is there a good site to find.

Thanks for your help! Excited to get this out on the water!

No ballast and that hull sticker means that it's probably a super sport 210, not a super air. They have the same hull, just different options and decals. You could try putting on the 02-03 AIR decal that came on the 03 Super Airs or you could put on the newer Super Air Nautique Chromax decals. nautiqueparts.com is a good place to go for those decals and other parts. For the bimini top, I have a Tower Biminis (that's the company name) on mine.

Agree with Beach... I think you have a Super Sport 210. Hard to tell from the pic, but I don't see any thru-hull fittings for empty and vent lines either. One way to tell for sure would be to look on the data plate next to the driver's seat and it will say "Super Air Nautique" or "Super Sport" IIRC.

Congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the site. I don't think I've ever seen a multi color tower before.

On the decal, I'd do the chromax, it's a clean timeless look.

Regarding surfing- Se my post in this thread #8 That was my surf setup. http://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/fo...wave-on-03-210

Here is the stock decal that came on the SANTE of that era.

+1 for Tower Biminis. Might be more expensive, but from the other SANTE 210 I looked at before buying our boat had one and it was pretty rock solid fit and design.

Congrats on the boat! I like the color and look of that tower

On my 2002 sante the data plate still says super sport. This may have changed on the 2003s though. None the less, good looking boat!

The multicolor tower actually looks good on your boat. I'm usually not a big fan of it.

Welcome to the OG club! IMO you're lucky it doesn't have stock ballast. Less work for you since you don't have to remove factory stuff.

A 750# sac in each locker and 375+ in the belly and you will be rolling. Some in the nose is even better.

Finally took the boat home and you all were right it's a super sport. Loving it so far! Had a question about fueling. Is there any risk of using both fuel ports at the same time? Emptying out two cans at a time sounds like a great time saver!

The risk with using both would be if the flow rate of gas into the tank was too fast for the air to escape. It would then bubble up and overflow. So it would depend on how fast gas comes out of the cans. Have you tried one of the shaker siphons? That's the fastest/easiest way I've found to fill a boat with gas cans.

After a few weeks on messing around the boat got a few more questions... One thing I've noticed is how the wake starts back quite a bit further than anything else that I've rode(Malibu, mastercraft). When I slalom ski at 75 ft I'm close to the wash. Anyone ever go shorter and ski before the wake? As for wakeboarding, I'm going to upgrade the ballast(currently no stock). Is it worth putting in a automated ballast system or just go with the sacs and pumps? Thanks!

If I had a blank slate, I would be going with reversible impeller pumps and independent switches. As far as the ski wake goes, not sure what to tell you. I love skiing too, but I have given up doing it behind my 02 SANTE. To me, it is just not worth it, especially when I have buddies with direct drives. Sorry to say, but I think you bought the wrong boat if you are skiers first.

Bought it for wakeboarding, don't mind skiing behind it just trying to find the best way to do it. When I really want to get a good ski I've got a buddy with a 89 sun setter.
