Looking to purchase either a G23 or G25. The G23 I want comes to $166k MSRP. The G25 came to $175k MSRP. Realistically, what should I expect to pay for these boats before taxes? I was told by current owners to expect to pay $135k and $145k respectively, at the very lowest. No clue whether that is accurate or not. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

IMO $135 to $145 is in the ball park. With all the options the dealers have, along with show pricing, not to mention boat/engine options, you're not going to have true comparable pricing but initial pricing can be only part of the deal. Is your dealer going to do your PM's, winterize, and other issue for you? Do they sell gear? What's their rep? What do they charge for service? Are you going to get discounts on other toys? How soon can they get your boat in and out? What kind of customer are you going to be? All things to consider when your looking at pricing.Last edited by swankster; 04-20-2016, 10:21 AM.2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

You should expect anywhere from 17-21% off MSRP. This time of year you should probably expect closer to the lower end of that. If it is a boat already on the lot, then you may can haggle out a better deal. Always try for free stuff too as stated above. Boards, PFDs, etc etc. I would say $135-137k for the 23, and $144-147k for the 25 would be fair prices. Good luck with your options!! PS, my vote is for the G23, they're much better weighted for wakeboarding and surfing. The 25 has a great wake still but has too much forward weight which mellows down the wake a touch, IMO. Unless you need the extra room, go for the 23!
