    2000 SAN price check

I'm trying to sell a 2000 SAN and wanted to check I'm at least in the right ball park for price. Here's the description

2000 Super Air Nautique - Mechanically: very good; cosmetically: typical condition for 15 year old boat. 2nd owner, always stored indoors, well maintained. GT40 engine, 310 HP, 975 hours. Custom tower. Awesome stereo, factory installed ballast system, forced air heater, shower, bimini top, teak swim step, lights, bow cover, boat cover, DHM dual axle trailer with spare tire.

With all the toys: 3 wakeboards, water skis, 3 person tube, ropes and more

I looked at a bunch of adds and saw similar boats for $23K-$29K, so I'm asking $24K. Does that seem reasonable or am I way off base?

    Thanks

I think you are a just a little high, but that doesn't mean there isn't someone who would pay that. I have seen a few 2003-2005 SAN's in excellent shape for around 28-32K... With your description, I would think closer to 20-21K would be more appropriate. Just my .02 I have had to part with a few boats and it's never easy to put a value on it... The value is, quite simply - what one someone will pay. Best of luck with the sale!

      Thanks, I'd seriously consider a $21K offer.

This is your boat right? The problem with your boat is the wacky-a$$ tower. It is going to take someone who is willing to overlook it or willing to replace it. My advice would be to remove it and replace it with a NDT tower. Otherwise you are going to face an uphill challenge trying to sell it.

Or just turn the tower around. It seriously looks like it was put on backwards, esp where the hinges are, in the back. This means that when you're towing somebody from it, the screws from the front are the only thing holding the tower. Will they hold? Sure. Is it still w potential safety hazard? Yes.
