2016 G23 Order

Looking at ordering trailer through Zieman since it's closest for me and my I have a slight in with them through my business. Other option would be a boatmate. Trailer I'm looking at ordering VERY similar to one pictured.

Don't get an Extreme trailer. I am very pleased with my Boatmate. I talked our local dealership into changing from Extreme to Boatmate, and he has been very pleased so far. He was having far more warranty issues with trailers than with boats. I would be interested to see how the Ziemann performs.

I only mention the Extreme since that is a pic of Extreme.

I had a Zieman trailer years ago when I had a Cobalt. It was 10 years old when I bought it, but I didn't care for it. I've had 2 Boatmates now and I think its hard to beat Boatmate at least in the tow boat segment.

Congrats on figuring out what to order on the G23. There are no right or wrong answers here because it's a personal choice.

I ordered the bow fill cushion, used it for 6 weeks, removed it and do not miss it at all. It I had young children I suspect it would stay all the time.

Stereo--I orderd the most basic system I could, left the factory cabin speakers in places but upgraded the amp for those then added Wetsounds sub and a pair of Rev 10s with two more Arc Audio amps. Honestly it is the best stereo I have ever heard in a boa however I am sure there are better systems. What I am trying to say is skimp on the factory stereo then design your own. For the same money or less you can have a better stereo compared to adding the maxed out Nautique system. This is all based on what was available in 2015. Rumor has it that JL Audio is arriving for 2016 and we all know they make great stuff.

Seat heaters--it's a must have...no question.

LED cupholders are a cheap option at the time of order.

I also went after market on the underwater lights and chose Lifeform 9s. Very pleased with them. Factory underwater lights are white so if you want a different color you'll need to go after market.

Pocket Door--is a very cool option, I wanted it but I just felt it was not worth the money so we did not order it.

Design Package--very cool option but provides little to no function. I opted not to get it.


Have fun choosing the options and colors and when you do this get the family involved. They'll love telling others I chose xyz and it makes them even more proud of the boat.

It's all done and ordered. I'm not supposed to do much talking or posting of pics until the '16 models actually get released in a week so end of next week I will post some pics of the final design. Thanks to all for the help, can't wait to get the new Nautique!

Here is the color scheme I went with. Was debating between lime green and the master blue. Think it turned out alright.

At last second I changed to a WHITE tower. Hope it was a good move. I can still change back to black but have until Monday. I think I will stick with white though

You'll like the white tower. Stands out when you are on the water..especially with the darker boat choice. Nice colors!!

I hope to see it some day! I am not sure I would have went with the gray vinyl, but it sure will look pretty. That blue and black is going to look extraordinary! It will be interesting to see how the silver flake complements it.

Just a quick look at how the silver metal flake looks with that color combo. I'm doing something along the same lines but with just all blue and silver metal flake and a brown interior. Any thoughts as to how the brown interior reacts to sun? Anybody recommend AGAINST brown interior?
