    216v Ballast Placement

I am looking for advice on where to place ballast bags for a 2010 Air Nautique 216V.. It currently has 750lbs stock hard tanks.. one in belly and two on each back side.

    Priority 1 - Wakeboarding
    Priority 2 - Surfing

My initial thought was to urchase a 1100 lbs sac and lay across back seats when wakeboarding and lay it across the the walk through on port side when surfing.

    Thoughts?

Surfing and Wakeboarding are a bit more intricately different (from my experience), in my 211, I fill the rear two tanks fully, and the front one about half to keep things going.

    My suggestion:

Wake boarding - fill the rear tanks only - get to board speed, then start adding to the front - whenever you get the wake you like, stop filling and get that ratio. Whatever that ratio is, keep it front/rear as you add more weight - is this going to require multiple bags? yes, but it's probably the best way (plus, you can piggy-back this set up and make the install more factory-like).

Surfing - fill the front tank fully, then the rear tank on the side you surf (port?), now start adding weight to the back corner until the wave gets too steep - flatten it back out with more weight in the bow, once you get it about as long as you want, you can add more height (not steepness) by adding more weight on the seats along the port side, or under the seat, if you can piggyback.

My current set up fro starboard is a 540 in the locker (piggyback) , 200 in the cooler (starboard seating area), 350 in the locker (piggyback), and 200 in the nose (piggyback). I'm still trying to dial in my port surf... but it's not happy about it.
