    Dispute between the dealer and I resolved.

    Many of you were following my series of posts about my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Buxton's Marine Sales back in August. We finally got it resolved and I'm posting the results because some of you wanted to know how it came out.

    First let me say that Greg there at Buxton's has been a SUPER help. If it wasn't for him I don't think anything would have ever been gotten fixed. So to Greg I and my family says thank you, a LOT. hehe.

    Ok, Buxton's Marine sales had more or less charged me $700 and some odd dollars to replace my electronic ignition parts with a set of points and a condenser... I won't go into that, but simply for a refresher.

    We talked to Mr. Buxton about exactly what had been going on, we felt we had been charged a few times for the same thing (based upon the items on the tickets) and some other stuff.

    Mr. Buxton and I couldn't seem to work things out. It ended kind of bad. So, I sent a letter to CC. John at CC was pretty helpful. He ended up talking with SWCC who sold us the elect ign. part in the first plance, Buxton's Marine, and Greg.

    In the end, to make a long story not quite so long, Buxton's Marine Sales refunded us part of our money.

    If you wanna know specifics I suppose you can PM me and I'll try to dig out all of the receipts to tell you how much everything was... but we were refunded a considerable amount, enough to make me happy. I feel it was fair and as far as I know Greg felt it was fair.

    This isn't mean to start up a big thing again, I was just letting anyone who wanted to know, know.

    So again, thank you Greg wherever you are! hehe.
