New Order 220

Hello i am new to the board
Last week the dealer had the 220 to demo.I liked the boat a lot.i was on the marked for a wakeboard boat and i was able to demo the211SV but after seeing the 220 and having kids this is the boat for me.Ordered Team P. and some other stuff any feedback on sound system would be nice.Thanks

Congrats on the 220.

The Team Edition has ok sound system. If you want to go all out, go with NVS1.net speakers or the Deafcon Systems. Both are considered the BEST in the market.

What color scheme did you order ? Also, if you dont mind me asking, what was the cost, OTD for the 220 Team ? or if you prefer, if you can send me a private message with the cost info.

Hey, I think I met/saw you when you bought your boat... Are you the guy with the SeaRay or the one who boarded behind it? I know CEAST sold 2 that day to both of those people... I'm the guy w/ the blue/black 216 you saw across the cove from your house. It was docked there at our friends house for about a month during the season.

So if you saw it that's the color combo I'd recommend. The black hull looks great and really makes the boat stand out from the rest. I don't think it shows the waterline much, and is definately worth the little extra care to keep scratches off. As for blue, blue looks real hot w/ black, and you know will always look cool. It is not a color like orange or green that might look stupid in a few years. Colors like blue and red you are safe with for a long time...

Looks like your the first (or 2nd..) 220 owner on Candlewood Lake!!! Hopefully we'll meet up again...

Welcome to the club here! I am still trying to help you out as best I can with the color options, but I still believe the all silver cloud would look best with that busy graphic. If you have any questions about the speakers, Abundiga909 has some good input about them. Hope this helps!

There is a picture of one with a black hull with silver cloud sides floating around somewhere. I'll try to post that picture this evening. It looks the best of any I have seen so far. I still want to see an all black 220.

I think the writing will just get lost a bit, as would the either vapor or midnight and patriot. The graphic has soo many colors that one of the colors would be hard to distinguish. Whereas a silver cloud main would show everything. i dunno

yea and just try to picture that 200 yards away, i would rather have people know exactly what i was driving rather than having them have to strain their eyes... it's a coin toss i guess

You have good eyes at 200 yards then . I can distinguish boats much more by the lines and the tower than by the sticker on the side.

The average person on my lake cannot unfortunately.. especially with the new design of the boat, I would rather not people thinking it was a tige or mastercraft...

I think the graphic stands out ok on the black as well as the white. But my preference might be to save the sticker for the garage wall!

Hey why worry, your 220 will be the new daddy of the lake anyways. Folks will be lookin at it from 200yards, 20 yards in fact how ever many yards their eyes can see! Congratulations on being one of the first to own a 220, must be a gr8 feelin...
