you will be happy to know i traded in my 04 malibu 23 xti for a real wakeboarding boat. not the colour selection. i know that alot of people hate the graphic, hate the tower, hate the windshield. i like the windshield will peel the sticker (reminds me of the bu tribal, and will learn to like the tower. the other difference are the pcm v drive, the ballast pumps, the electrical relays, the carpet up the seat risers (gone). i ordered the dripless, stern cleats, pylon, carion II, heater, flip up, docking lights. anything else i should know about or order. suggestions? this is my first post on planet

you ticked the best of the option boxes, what about the sound system, 6L engine upgrade and an extra jump seat is very handy.

the team comes with the jump seat, the stereo is the level II without the cans, (alot of money and i don't like to annoy the neighbours, my wake already does that). the 330 seemed fine in a friends well weighted 210, and i don't want the gas consumption of my 380 in the 375 (similar i'll bet).
i do really want a bimini, thanks for the link. the dealer has them custom made and does not order the factory ones. i figured that i would wait. i wonder if the link has then fitted for the new 06 towers already. my boat will be at the boat show in toronto in january. i got some discounts for that.
as for colours, how does the black and or grey hold up for fading. am i going to be in buff city? maybe vapor blue somewhere, but for now thinking of this combo

The gray/blk color combo looks very nice and I've never heard of any gelcoat on the hull fading, only on the deck which only comes in white now. We almost got that same color combo w/ the blk hull and gray primary, until, like you, wondered what some vapor blue would do...

My boat is mostly black, and it has held up extremely well. It gets waxed regularly, but there hasn't been any fading at all. I am very happy with the black gelcoat, and my next CC will be black as well.

When I spoke with the Towerbiminis vendor at surf expo I believe he did say that they already had the specs for the '06 tower on the 210, but were still waiting on the 220-either way it should not be long. They make a great bimini.

The Black/Grey SAN is ours... we too came from a Malibu to Nautique and we could not be happier... Ours is for sale at the moment but that is to make way for something new next year... will keep you posted...

The colour scheme is very nice and ours was the first in Aust with that color combo... there have since been a couple more but with different accents (Black - ours is Silver Metallic) & interior piping (Black - ours is Silver metalic again) but I honestly think the lighter accent is the go... Have had no probs with the colours fading having said that I am anal about maintenance so she is well looked after... Enjoy your new boat.

did you like the grey on the bottom? of the boats that i have seen with black on the bottom hull the scratches from the trailer bunks really show up. did you find the scum mark that usually shows up on the side of the boat at the waterline that the grey hides it? i worry that if i go all black that it will be like a black car, great when clean but showing all of any dirt (scum, watermarks) when its not. am i correct?

speck, I actually find that the black hull hides the dirt and scum line much more than a white hull. I have never had a problem with my black hull. People say that they show scratches more but I have never experienced that. Most trailers these days are made well enough where they shouldn't be scratching your hull. If they are, get a new trailer.

However, I also think that most of the boat's hull that gets the scumline on it is the part w/ the secondary stripe, not the hull color section. My secondary stripe happens to be white so when I rarely get a water line on the boat, it shows up much more in the stern b/c that is where it is on the white stripe. The scum line is not seen in the bow area b/c it is over the black hull. So just keep in mind that the worst part of the scum line lies over the secondary stripe, not hull color section.

Looks great, Abun and I are in favor of black hull and different primary. Nonetheless, the one you posted looks sharp and I've seen lots of gray hulls here on PN that look great as well.
