This is your boat on lead.
I definitely wouldn't recommend leaving the lead weight in the boat on the trailer, by doing this you are not only stressing the hull, but you are also going to effect your breaking as well...How about \"Chales\"?

I have used lead to replace human weight when you ride/ski with smaller crews. I previously ran about 400 lbs wrapped in towels under the back seat of my old boat spread across the rear of the boat. I only towed with it there a few times, just be careful and use a little common sense.
