I just put a pair of Samson Racks on my 230 due to the fact I didn't want to deal with messing with the factory bimini....they are really top quality....if the bimini pockets aren't an option for you.

They have the 24" pockets at the front of bimini that holds the boards in place plus there are straps on the back of the bimini to keep them strapped down and can be tightened as well... The boards stay very secure... and can use board socks before inserting them to keep them out of the sun if desired.Originally posted by jjsaustin View PostSo what keeps the board from flapping up and down when you go over wakes?

The light thing and getting a ticket... if the water po po wants to give you a ticket they can always figure out a reason regardless... I will test out at night this week with boards up there just to see... as I think the bimini being angled down to the front would still allow the light to be seen... but stay tuned
@Nautiquehunter.... I am one of the organizers of Southern Surfest... we exchanged emails!! And Surfest caused me to buy a Nautique!! Would be happy to meet up. I had the pockets you have on my previous boat and liked them a lot..

Did you get the clamp racks? I just ordered those and am waiting for them as I don't love the factory racks. Do you have pictures of yours?Originally posted by UofM21 View PostI just put a pair of Samson Racks on my 230 due to the fact I didn't want to deal with messing with the factory bimini....they are really top quality....if the bimini pockets aren't an option for you.

I didn't get the clamp racks, I just got the 2015 backing (first one to get them) and the bungee style. I did surf/surf style as we don't wakeboard often. I can get pictures of the racks soon. I just wanted to use them a bit before doing a full review of them.

I was inspired to do the same on our 2013 210. I used mesh instead of fabric and put rubber reinforcement under the tip of the board as I was worried it would wear through the bimini. I can get better pictures later if anyone wants. We haven't had a chance to try it out yet but it looks great. $250CDN and done in less than 24hrs.

Those look great. Good idea on the mesh instead of fabric!! I like how there is not any slack in them when laying there without boards in them.Originally posted by iamcdn View PostI was inspired to do the same on our 2013 210. ST68,
Did you tell the shop how wide you wanted the surf pockets or maybe there is elastic sewed in? They look perfect for your boards and I want the same shop to do that for me since my boat is sitting at Marinemax now while I wait for the lake level to rise. I want to call that shop and have them do this for me prior to delivery.
