I had narrowed down our choice to a 2013 Tige Z1 or a 210 and was blown away that when I priced them out similarly it came to a $600  difference. I couldn't justify that price for a Tige that we didn't think was as quality a product. And now reading all the issues the 2013 Tiges have had with their ConvexVX I am glad I went with the 210...and this is even with all the issues I have had with my 210. The company and the dealer have gone out of their way to take care of us. It's funny that the TO forum had a Nautique thread go up just before this one went up.

I don't get on here enough, will someone tell me what GC stands for so I can get this joke that everyone lovesOriginally posted by nyryan2001 View PostI would buy a Lexus before a BMW, but not a Tige before a Nautique. But the real question is if it can be towed safely by a GC.

Funny how some things are a matter of perspective...."WSA sales, mainly Frank, is the reason I own a Nautique."
Frank is the reason I own a Nautique too...He received my boat as a trade in when someone traded his 2008 sante 210 for a malibu. And Frank basically gave it to me. And thankfully txjole looked at it for me, before it got on the road from tx to minnesota. Frank was fine to work with I have no complaints, he was very complimentary about buxton. All good. I can see why the guy traded it in as there were plenty of problems with the 2008 210 that did get fixed under warranty (i got records from buxton), but were enough that I too would think twice about a nautique. But for me as 2nd owner for that price no worries.
PS...You guys are plenty negative about tige, but maybe want to check if your crankshaft pulley bolt is tight.Last edited by scottb7; 08-01-2013, 12:48 PM.

And even that was a screwy deal, everything I pointed out on the boat they told me was on the list to fix and then they shipped it without fixing. Still wish I would have been there the day it was loaded on the truck, might have been able to stop it.Originally posted by scottb7 View PostFunny how some things are a matter of perspective...."WSA sales, mainly Frank, is the reason I own a Nautique."

Still it was a slap in the face to me, everything I pointed out they say they will fix knowing good and well they were not. I should have called you the minute the tech got in the boat with me wearing tennis shoes and I went first bare footed.2008 210 SAN TE (Moonraker Yellow over Midnight Blue)

Tige is getting desperate at this point. They know that people are catching on to their poor build quality even though they throw a good wake so their theory is, "Hey! maybe if we make the wake good enough people will just not care about the quality!"
So, they drop PCM and put all of their funds into a new hull and just forget about build quality.
And then overcharge you for it.

ya its sad. My Tige has been pretty good, and overall not a bad boat. I would put somethings on it better then Mastercraft. With that said I have no faith in the newer tige boats. By dropping PCM its just a cost savings to go to Indmar.Originally posted by perry386 View PostTige is getting desperate at this point.
