Anybody have an idea when Nautique will announce changes for 2014, especially to the 210/230 lineup? My dealer says they should be getting a 230 in a couple weeks, but no pictures, no details, nothing. I've narrowed it to the X30, Tige RZ4, and possibly the 230 depending on what it looks like and if it's comfortable. I never felt comfortable in the current 230, but love the G, just can't make myself pay the extra $30,000 for one. I'm hoping the new 230 is just as comfortable as the G.

I don't think you are going to see any major difference in the 2013 230 vs. the 2014 230. Colors and options maybe.
You have quite the spectrum of boats you are looking at. If you are going to put the tige in the mix, should put the Supra/Moomba in there. I assume you will be ordering the PCM in the Tige. You can get a PCM in the Surpa/Moomba lines as well.

I have been hearing a lot about deck changes to both the 210 and 230 but the wetted surfaces will remain the same. We should be finding out pretty soon.Originally posted by Crad View PostI don't think you are going to see any major difference in the 2013 230 vs. the 2014 230. Colors and options maybe.Shawn

Supra/Moomba are junk from what I've seen, thanks for the input, but their quality just isn't what the others is. I looked at the Malibu 24 MXZ as well, but wasn't impressed with it either. All 3 boats are within $10K of each other and all have similar build quality. If you haven't looked at a Tige in awhile, I'd put it right up there with MC and CC in quality of materials and workmanship. I just wish CC would put real stereos in the boat so I wouldn't have to drop another $5K as soon as I drive it off the lot to have a decent sound system. I guess I'll just continue to play the waiting game, figured CC would atleast dangle a carrot out there like MC did with the X46, just show me the back end or bow or something.Originally posted by Crad View PostI don't think you are going to see any major difference in the 2013 230 vs. the 2014 230. X30, current 230 (which I really don't like the interior of), and RZ4 are all within $10K of each other and all have similar build quality. If you can't objectively look at each of those 3 boats and put them on the water and see that I don't know what to tell you. All 3 surf pretty well and all 3 have a decent enough wakeboard wake for me. I skipped Moomba, but did look at Supra and put one in the water and it just felt cheap to me and was a rougher ride testing on the same lake on the same day.Originally posted by sprocketeer View Post.

That's neither here nor there, I really want to see what the 2014 230 looks like, I heard top deck changes and some hull tweaks to make it surf better and I really like the NSS, just hope it's a more comfortable boat than the current model is. The G is extremely comfortable for me, just kinda blows the budget completely out of the water. If a G21 shows up in August I would be looking really hard at it.

@Tommy, I have to admit the X30 I saw at the boat show this year looked nice, good layout in the interior and a little deeper storage/interior. I've only seen pictures of the wakes, and they look pretty good. I don't know anything about the current Tige's, but will say the overall package to me is not my cup of tea.
New 230 will look a little different, and the interior/deck is revised, heard the running surface is pretty much the same. Pricing is supposed to be a little less $, and rumor is no more "team" editions for the 210/230models...
It's kind of strange that CC hasn't released the new info yet, '14's should be in production this month...2008 230 TE-ZR6

Tommy - I'll give you the Mastercraft being close to CC. One of my good friends is a Tige dealer. I could drive a Tige for almost free. I've been to both plants in TX (old and New). I won't say anything else as that isn't my style. Tige uses PCM motors and I do like the Wetsound option. If CC had the WS option it would make them a clear leader in options.
Also the MC tower I just can't get me head around. Lots of flex. interesting look. Personally I can't decide if I like the look of the MC towers now. MY CC tower is rock solid.
We all have opinions, but if you are considering tige I would look at Supra. I use to live in Knoxville, TN. I have been to the MC, BU and Supra plants. Both on tours and to repair equipment in the MC and Supra plants. The Supra/moomba lay up process is rock solid.
If I was a new boater it would be a hard decision between CC and MC. I can see that. Being I have had so many CC's over the years, I buy CC because of the customer service the factory provides. I move a lot and I don't always have access to good dealers, but I still get serviced. If you want to know why you should by a Nautique, call the plant, talk with Larry Shea or Dave H, two of the finest customer service folks you will ever meet.
Also if I had to do it all over again, I would buy a G23 vs my 2012 210. You said this is the boat you want, because everytime you get into whatever you decide to buy you are going to think to yourself, its not a g23.

I agree 100%. I have had a 230 and several 210's...when I was in the market last year for a new boat, it was a hard decision for me to pony up the extra coin for the G. Now, I have absolutely no regrets and am glad I stepped up to the G.Originally posted by Crad View Post...because everytime you get into whatever you decide to buy you are going to think to yourself, its not a g23.2021 G23 450 - Current
