Do you have a diagnostic tool where you can objectively determine how much timing was pulled to prevent knocking using regular gas on the 450?

I am not the biggest engine guru... but if it were explained in simple terms to help owners:

    1. Cheap 87oct with 10% ethanol from the local Pilot resulted XXXXX pulled timing, efficiency ...whatever XYZ.
    2. Pure gas 87oct with NO ethanol resulted XXXXX pulled timing, efficiency ...whatever XYZ.
    3. 91Oct with 10% ethanol from the local Pilot resulted XXXXX pulled timing, efficiency ...whatever XYZ.
    4. Pure 91oct with NO ethanol resulted XXXXX pulled timing, efficiency ...whatever XYZ.

You would think with all the ECM and dealer diagnistoc tools this wouldnt bee too hard to do.

Yes, I can measure timing pull I think using my tools. I try not to do anything on my boat I don't have to though, feels like I'm back at work, ha. I can't measure the resulting HP, TQ, or curve without removing the engine and strapping it to an engine dyno though. I can calculate some rough numbers but it would help to have a factory dyno starting point and knowing what the fuel and timing was on said dyno.
93 is available in Texas everywhere, so if I did this I'd like to do it on 93 as well. We typically have 87/89/93. Some places you can get 91. What I'd really love is if this was a flex fuel motor and I could drop some E85 in. That would be a huge boost in power for no extra cash.

I'll wait for Buxton to slow down after most people have winterized their boats and see if they want to participate with me on this using their dealer tool which would be a lot easier/quicker for me, and potentially more accurate.
