    tow rope and board racks

whats the trick for keeping the tow rope out of the board racks or wrapped up in a board after you circle back for a rider.
I have always come to a almost stop, then tight turned a 180 in idle, then back to the rider. seems to keep the wake out of your boat and keeps the water smooth.
But my rope is always in the racks or around a board.

We always have someone grab the rope after the rider falls...they'll go back and sit on the sun deck and flip the rope to the rider.no issues with the rope coming anywhere close to anything that could snag it. We do the same thing as you, come to a stop then 180 back to the rider.

the g doesn't have that problem but my other boats did, I got a aluminum pole that retail shops use to hang up hangers over head ( pole with small V on the end) people sitting in seats would never have to get up , they just reached , and unhook, they loved it and would tell me what a great idea and I should patent it and sell, mine had a little Nautique sticker on it .

Haha that is a funny idea but good solution. What SkiTower said works as well, don't turn quite so tight and it won't get hung up. As long as you are going slow you won't mess up the water so the slightly wider turn shouldn't be an issue.

I was a three event skier on a private lake prior to open lake boarding. I've always stopped and idled back not throwing rollers down the course. Just keep an eye to the rope and judge your turn accordingly.

After a fall, when chopping back to idle, a little pre-turn the opposite direction you are going to turn to go back to the rider seems to help me. Opens up the turn around a bit, but keeps you inside your own wake to not disturb the water.

We always just keep the turn wide. Only problem is make sure you gas it when you hit your own rollers or you'll flood the bow. My son was wakeboarding the other day while a couple was sitting in the bow and I got distracted and completely soaked them.

Haha this is true! In my old 91 Sport with the slant back it was always fun to chop the throttle and let the wake crash over the back when somebody annoying was sitting in the back seat.
