I love Thursdays!! That is one of my favorite brochure pictures.

And from above, My dad only had that boat about 3 years. He screwed up and bought an IO after that after my mom said we had to have an open bow boat for the big "Family". Me dad mom and bro is all we have. After that he bought the 92 205 MC. Fastforward to this year and back in a good old Ski Nautique again .

Another throw back. Dads 74 SN Circa 1982 ish? I don't believe I was around at that time. That boat my friends is the reason I work where I do today. I can remember the interior of that boat to a T and it was sold when I was 4 years old. I remember the day it left. I also remember the day my dad sold the tow pig for that boat a 1979 Dodge Lil Red Express. I was not a happy camper on either of those days haha.

        Memories

A couple years back I was looking to buy this Century. The person selling it sent me a bunch of OLD pictures. As I was studying the photo, I noticed my dad still on the gunnel of the maroon boat in the upper left corner. He is wearing a white Wilson Art cap (how I know that is he always wore that cap). The boat was a 1983 Barretta with a 4 CYL 140 HP Merc. I learned to Ski and Barefoot behind that boat. More then likely I was driving it.

Photo taken on Conneaut Lake in NW PA.

        Pretty cool.

Thats cool! Only you would notice a boat like that in a picture that small if you grew up on the thing. Every Nautique guy I usually meet has a story of why they like the brand or old ski storys. Hopefully our boats will keep on making memories for people. It will be funny 30 years from now people will be looking to restore G23s because thats what they learned to wakeboard behind.
