I have never had a problem with a 750 piggy backed on top of the factory "port side tank" I left the carpeted board as well. I used the wakemakers.com kit and it's a must if your surfing. I didn't add the Starboard side as my crew is all regular footed.

It takes 2 presses and prolly 8minutes or so to fill it completely. so 700 + 300 = 1100 lbs in the port locker.

I'm now running a 400 in the walk way with the bow bag as full as I can get it. This has helped the push and cleaned the face.

Yep everyone was right, I should have done this long ago. Makes that "everyone off the sun pad so I can switch sides" problem a thing of the past. Now hit the button twice and we go from regular to goofy in minutes. LOVE IT!

It's super easy to do on the 210/230's. On my 230 didn't even have to cut the vent hose, just switched it from the tank to the bag.
I did the same thing with the factory hose but have notice the bags tend to slide to the back and the hose pulls on the bag fitting. I'm going to replace the factory hose. Any other solutions out there?

All I did was trim the factory overflow to a length that helped mate the end (plus fitting) to the fill port on the sac. The aft end of the sac stays put.

And this gentlemen is what happens when your sac sucks flat and won't let your factory hard tank vent.

And this is what alittle handy vise work can do. Work perfectly now.

Ouch. I rigged some pieces of twine from the vent port collars of the sacs to the locker hinges so the sacs stand up a little when they are empty.

I would try to place a one way valve on the hard tanks so it would allow a pressure relief type of situation. I figured it was just easier to place in 750s in each side instead of the piggy backing. If I know I am only going to surf, I replace them with 1100s I keep at the house. It is as easy as plug and play.

What is the best way to prevent the bags from collapsing? I just ordered a 750 sac to piggyback & plan to install mine next week.

Once you get to the bags just make sure they are not sucked flat. Or make you you are sober enough to check that they r not sucked flat because you pregnant wife who is driving has not clue to watch for that.

I try to be careful but sucked a 750 flat last Saturday. I was luckly and didn't damage the tank but when I opened the value, she took a big long breath of air and everything still seems to be working. Blanton, at Buxton, plumps the overflow line to both top ports on the sack with a tee. I'm going to try this with support to keep it up. No matter how much I talk about watching the sacks when draining, it seems only the boat owner (me) is really concerned about it.

Also, discovered that full factory tanks with 2 750's and a boat load of people is too much weigth for the 343 on a 230.

Just spoke to Phil at Buxton and I'm going to plumb in a 400 in the starboard side Friday. I have been reading this thread and it looks like its gonna be real nice as long as I got air to the tank. I'll post up how I brace the bag for airflow this weekend

I'm planning to piggyback a couple of wedge sacks (W708) and an integrated bow sack (W711) in my 2005 SANTE 210 in the next couple of weeks.

Are you guys using PVC cement to attach the fittings to the sacks or just screwing them in?

Screwed mine in because I pull them out and put the plugs back in if I need to use them in a famaly members boat. Dont really see a reason they would need to be cemented.

I initially did use cement but now wish i had not. I have wanted at times to move sacs or upgrade to other sizes but still use the old ones for manual fill surf sacs etc. If the fittings are pvc-cemented in I have to use a rigged set up that is a bit of a pain. I check my fittings while I am getting my boat ready to launch, but I have never had to even re-tighten the fittings. In the future, I will not be using cement.
