    Trailer style for a 206

I am looking for advice on type of trailer style that is preferred:
Do you guys like a trailer style that is "bump into / V front" or one that has a roller up front"?
Or is there another type that works even better than one of those?

    Thank you,

I like the crash pads style but if not use right(hitting too hard) it can damage the rub rail pretty bad.

Problem with the roller up front w/a 206 is when floating on the roller is often above the rub rail, you need to put boat mostly on then pull forward until the roller is below the rub rail, then crank it up the last couple inches. Up side with a roller is it does not interfere with the installation or rub on the boat cover. Dealer talked me into the roller on my 206, never again, V-Bunks/Crash Pads are the way to go.

BTW, if you end up with a color hull you will really want to float the boat on as much as possible otherwise you will get scratching in the gel. Same thing will happen with the white hull it just won't be as noticeable.

Another advantage to floteing the boat on is the bunk carpet will last a lot longer.

The crash pad / catcher's mitt is the only way to go.

PS - you can enjoy pics of my 206

I used to think the crash pad would be horrible.........until I got one. I would't have it any other way. Also very helpful is a winch to go along with the turnbuckle.

Anyone know which trailer manufacturers make a trailer for a 200 with a catchers mitt? My deal is having a hard time locating one.
