Can you tell me how you routed the vent line from the 1k sac to the thru hull fitting? Did you go to the opposite hull? (How do you prevent the sac from draining / siphoning?)

The 1k bag is almost the same height as a piggy back system (400# bag over the tank). We turned the overflow thru hull "J" up and ran the overflow line off the rear top of the bag with a droop in it so would become the low spot. You will always have a little syphon/equalizing, but that will minimize major dumping.
If you do run the 1k bag a support brace from the front to back against the engine divider supports will eliminate the dividers from bowing into the engine. The bag bulges out and is a tad wider than the compartment area.

I would love to "clone" N3's surf wake, but initially I am going to try a variation.
Based on SacSurfer's pictures, and from what Wakemakers tells me, it looks like a 750 sac will fit piggy backed on top of the factory tank(s), putting about 1k on the corner.
Then, I think I am going to go with the Arrow Sac in the belly, and if I need more towards the bow, I still have 400# of pop products bags to work with (I am thinking 200 or so will do it).
Has anybody measured the belly cavity to know the the Arrow Sac won't fill all the way?

I had my sons out today and we tried to duplicate N3's set-up. We ran all foctory ballast full, 400lbs in the port locker, approx another 400 along the port seating, appox 600 in the bow, and 3 in the boat, running around 10.5 mph. You can def fit a 750 on top of the port or star rear tanks. I now have 2 400lb sacs that I'm going to use this season under the rear flip down seat going to put that inbetween the driver & passenger, and then extra 400 in the center locker if it fits, or might just re-do with an enzo sac. I have under seat bow ballast bag, but not the center tube sac, thinking that might be the key for the 210 surf wake along here.

Thanks. I haven't done the install yet, so I have been wondering. Fittings just arrived today. I recall your photos of the 750s, but I thought I measured the lockers at the boat show and thought the sacs' height might be taller than the locker space.
On the center locker, my other guess was that I would get more wt. from the arrow sac than the tube, so I got the arrow -- but there is quite a price differential from the tube. If you already have the under seat and the tube, you'll end up with what n3 has in the bow, I think. I think his photos were also from a day with 5 - 6 peeps, too?
Man, I hear everywhere in the country it is 80, and we had snow in the highlands the past two nights!!

Almost through the install. Installed the center locker sac Sunday. Used a leftover hose from previous wakemakers kit for the vent line, and used the factory overflow as the fill line.
Now that I have had a good look, I see I can route the 750 vent / overflow line high on the inside of the gunwale to avoid siphon (I think) so that most of the venting hose is above the thru hull.
Using FH W746 and W743 1.125" fittings with hoses set up by wakemakers, leftover from old project. This is because the 1" I.D. factory hose is wire reinforced and I found to be too hard to fit up on the FH fittings, and wakemakers suggested that using the .75" fittings would not make a tight enough joint. They say to use a heat gun to get the hose to stretch onto the fitting...instead I put the hose ends into boiling water for 2 minutes and they slid right onto the fittings. (this was for the two new stub lines from the hard tank vent that become the fill lines for the 750s. Once I get the stubs set and lined up to the 750 fill ports, I will use a hole saw to cut an opening in the carpet faced board for routing the fill line.2010 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition

You can dang near completely fill a 750 on top of port hard tank. I removed the carpeted panel that covers the factory tank which will allow for a little more room to fill it. It also allows for some room to store fenders, and extra life jackets down beside to factory hard tank.

Sorry if this isn't the appropriate thread but there seems to be some good experience here. I just got a 2008 210 and have never surfed before. The boat has the factory plus add'l ballast so should be set up well... but I have no idea of what board to get. Any thoughts on a good beginner board?2008 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition

Mckee120 we started off with the CWB "Ride" package: it has an instructional DVD, beginner's surf board and rope. You should be able to find it for <$300. Helped us get started and it's 63 inches, so it served the whole family using just the factory ballast (2010 SAN 210). Once we get more experience we'll add more ballast and upgrade our board...

I'm 6'1" about 195lbs, an pretty quickly grew out of the beginner boards.
I currently have a Phase 5 Drew Daniello, Inland Surfer Moss, Shred Stixx Comp 1, and an O'brien Atlas.

I would first ask is the board for you or your crew? You will want a beginner board for every else and then something for yourself.

each board is a completely different riding experience with the exception of the same make similar size boards, those are just for rider profile( kid's, teen's, adult, XL, women's etc.) The key is practice, any good/great rider will be able to ride any board, just what tricks your looking to try, certain boards excel in one division (skim - surface tricks, spins, shuvs) (surf - air's, grabs)
