One more question, what length of rope do you have her using? It appears she's at the very end of the wake, may help to shorten the rope and get her closer to the boat.

I've shortened the rope 10' so she is currently at 65'.

That's odd, it looks like she's at the very end of the wake. At 65' there should be a lot more wake behind here, may just be the camera angle but it looks the same on all of them.

Based on the third pic you posted, looks like your little girl is charging! I'd bump up the speed. My 9 y/o daughter runs at 19 or so with the belly tank full (only because I'm too lazy to empty and refill between riders) and the wake is really clean for her. I'd also recommend running a shorter line. Just my $0.02.

Also mentioned above is passenger position. My 206 (no ballast) is extremely weight sensitive. Don't anyone nag at me, but I often slide over to the jump seat and steer from the middle to clean up both wakes. My son rides goofy so he always had good wake on his side as he learned...now he needs both to be good. My daughter is reg and with just me in the boat her wake is solid wash at 17/18 so I move to the middle.

I do have a sack I can lay on the port side but it is a lot of trouble and gets in the way.

Eventually, we are going to need two boats
My kids (11 & 9) WB behind a SN and usually with out a fy high or fat sac. I too have moved over to get the wake even @ 17mph. From what I see in the mirror they cut out fine but their approch angle is to shallow. If they cut back to the wake harder, they'll generate speed and that approch will allow more pop off the wake. We use a non stretch line (60') and it seems to work. If the board is heavy it will be hard for them to get air.

I did not get any photos, but you are right, you're not going to be able to get a clean wake at that speed. I was on calm water and it was horrible. I guess you have two options, keep that speed and tell her to stay in the wake and work on form or speed her up if she has her form down to get a cleaner wake.

On a different note, I had a little extra weight on the boat this weekend and the wake was real nice. We only had the stock 700 pounds plus 300 pounds in the bow and 500 in the rear seat and it was nice. A buddy was with me who owns an X-star with about 4500 pounds of water said that wake was way better than theirs with all the weight they have on it. Good to know the crossover Nautique puts out that nice of a wakeboard wake.

Another $0.02, I am using a 50' rope for my beginners. They are up to 15-19 mph, so the wash is gone but the ramp is not as steep as say 10 further back. I think a shorter rope length would help you get the rider into a cleaner section of water, with a small bump in speed.

Something is not right with that statement.

Based on the 3 photos that you put up: First, pull the rope in more. As people learn, they need to learn good technique. You wake will be cleaner the closer you are to the boat at slow speeds. Also, the wake gets more narrow the closer to the boat you are. When learning W2W, she will appreciate a narrower wake to develop skills. Speed should be based on the persons comfort and desire.
