Looks like a LF Venture to me. You should look at an Inland Surfer Squirt. I tip the scales at around 235 and I'm able to ride this board fine. We also have a Venture and have never been able to free ride that board. The Squirt is small and very fast/responsive - lot of fun to ride.Originally posted by shag View PostChattwake, what board is that? I am about 230 and need to find a good wakesurfer.

It is a liquid force venture. The board is cheap, but is super easy to ride and I dont' care if it gets banged up. I have a few smaller boards, but for just goofing around or teaching people, which is what I was doing in those videos, that 5.6 venture is perfect.2012 Axis A22 - on order

well i am pretty impresed because these pictures are all stalk wieght and The wave is pretty big for just that. IR would like to see one fully wieghted to see exactly how big it can get though.Originally posted by ctimrun View PostThis is not encouraging to me. I just sold my 210 hoping to upgrade to a 230 for a bigger boat and a better surf wake. I have yet to see a picture of a surf wake from a 230 that I am impressed with.

my 230 with 3400 lbs of ballast makes a pretty sick wave. i don't have any pictures though. i'm going out on Saturday with some friends, so if i fully load it out, i'll take some pictures of the wave. i doubt i will put that much weight in it this weekend though.

Please do. 230 wakesurfing
We have wakesurfed for a little over a year on 230 SAN's (2008 & 2010 now). If you are regular, fill up Factory Tank for Port & Belly, then add a 440lb Fatsac in the Port Aft compartment, then a Surf Sac on the Port side (1100lb..... put cooler on the floor to hold this L shape bag up), then put a 440lb. bag in the bow (about full) and this will give you a long tall surf wave guaranteed. We start on the swim platform and rock off without a rope, and can ride for miles while slashing and spins.

Wave size
I was thinking the same thing...from where I sit. Really, I think they just need weight in the bow.Originally posted by ctimrun View PostThis is not encouraging to me.
