I saw the Clarion CMV1 in the 210 at the boat show playing a DVD on the head unit screen, and simultaneously on the LINQ screen on the dash. Is anyone doing this and is it worth it? I see the CMV1 for sale for about $480 (Amazon, etc.) and I think it would be cool, but would I ever open the glove box and watch it on my 07 without LINQ? Hmmm...

Personally I think it's a cool novelty, but the excitement would wear off not long after getting it and then it would be a $480 thingamajig. JMO.BKinSoCal - Brian

I don't have one, but my imput would be that I find it harder to read my LINQ in the sunlight. If you are talking about using it to watch your rider or skier, I would say that your mirror would be much clearer, not to mention cheaper!2008 Ski Nautique 206

I could see using it if you were watching something like "The Book" for instructions on new tricks... but a $100 portable DVD player with 12v plug will do the same thing (on a bigger screen). Now

I have actually tied in a cheap notebok computer to a video camera system as well as put the book on the harddrive. So I watch the section of The Book for instruction, then try the trick while video taping, and then watch to see how I did. Works great, plus ended up a lot cheaper than a tied in head unit etc.Eric, Phoenix AZ
