I spoke with David at White Lake at their Christmas Open house about my boat. I did not buy from them (HQ was my local dealer). He told me it would also cost to get it replaced. He did say on a boat he had the store (an 08 230) he did get it replaced. Where are you getting the info on it Diggityd? I would like to get mine fixed, but its not a $300+ fix for me.

That is absolutely false Paublo. IT is 100% a Zero Off technical error that they solved. Is warranty work as what ZO designed for SAN 210's did NOT work.....every case I have seen got it done free as warranty work....your dealer is way off.

I asked my dealer about the surging on my '09 210 and getting the fix. After a week he shows me an email from Correct Craft. They are calling this an upgrade, not a recall. The new antenna is $289 and the wiring harness is $35 and he would do the software update. Is everyone getting the same response or have you been getting it free? I only saw it happen once and awhile- maybe every other trip. So I'm wondering if it is worth it.

    Same questions here, anyone?

had not been on in a while. the fix includes a software update plus a new wiring harness and new antenna. the hockey puck antenna you got with your 08 is not the one.....even my summer 09 san 210 did not have the update....

not sure. i think its different for every situation. i do know that if you get it from ZO, they will take your old antenna in as a trade in for a discounted new antenna.

Good thread....we are all getting same input from Larry at CC and Eric at ZO......the only thing nobody seems to be able to give 100% clear info on is the supposed 'river mode'.....mebbe a myth..... Regardless we will all be running the corrected ZO in 2010 so it will either work for all or we will ALL have them re re replace and sort out.

where is the "river mode" everyone keeps talking about? i have a 2009 210 SANTE and the ZO is very basic. i cant find a river mode on it. i live on a river and my ZO works great since i got the new antenna.

After driving the boat on familiar waterways, the new puck and software appears to be much better when compared to the previous models.

Now if only ZO could solve the River mode functionality issue. CC dropped the paddle wheel speed indication on our 2010 210 TE model , thus making it even harder to reference and compensate for ZO setpoint adjustments when riding in rivers.
I have also ordered a 2010 210TE, Im concern if my 210 will come with the new antenna or the old one. And how does the new model get the speed signal without the paddle wheel? GPS?

You should get the new puck. The tacky looking speedo gauge uses the GPS signal.

If I ordered the boat again I would request either a ZO unit that has river mode improvements or a paddle wheel and 2009 guages (the ones that have the digital display in the lower part of instrument face). I did use the paddle wheel to help me manually set and tune the ZO setpoint as I weave down the river.

I hope they can figure out the river mode because the primary place I use my boat is on a river and I'm planning on buying a new boat next year. If PP is no longer an option, they need to have an adequate solution for all types of waterways.

i did it myself. it took 30 minutes, its really easy.

The 230 definitely has this porpoise problem too. I have talked to the Zero Off guys and Larry at CC and he has authroized the swap of mine in my 2009 230. This was a few months ago.
